Medals: 2010 National Canoe & Kayak Championships Depth of Award Modification
At the USCA Annual Meeting in January, the delegates voted to simplify the previous system of awarding, variously, 6 deep, 5 deep, 3 deep, and 2 deep in adult classes. Beginning in August, 2010, all adult classes will be awarded 3 deep.
Medals for all youth, junior, adult/youth and adult/junior classes will remain the same: 6 deep for marathon distances and 5 deep for sprints. All special age group recognitions will remain the same.
