2020 Marathon Nationals – Newaygo, MI

Marathon Nationals rescheduled to August 12-15, 2021

It is with great sadness that we as Newaygo Nationals Association have had to come to the decision to postpone 2020 year USCA Nationals until August of 2021 . We have reached this decision in collaboration with Newaygo County Emergency Services, Michigan Canoe Racing Association (MCRA) and the United State Canoe and Kayak Association (USCA). Their respective Boards share our concerns and those of NCES, and erring on the side of caution and restraint is what we must do. At present, we are working to reschedule the Power Paddle for August 15-16, with additional starts for any USCA racers that wish to attend if the situation allows at that time.  As such, the USCA National Championships will take place in Newaygo in August 12-15, 2021.  Thank you again for the faithful support of the racing community, volunteer community and our volunteers that make these events possible. We hope you and your families are staying safe and that we can return to hosting world class events later this year. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@newaygonationals.org

The United States Canoe Association’s (USCA) 2021 National Canoe & Kayak Marathon Championships is a 4-day event where canoers, kayakers and paddleboarders from across the US and Canada test their race skills against the best in their sport.
