Committees & Appointments

USCA Committees, Chairs, and Special Appointments, 2010

The Executive Committee is elected by the Board of Directors (the Delegates to the USCA).
The Executive Director is a special appointment, made by the Board of Directors, with a term of two years beginning at the midterm point of the President's term.
Standing Committees are permanent committees, whose purpose is described in USCA's Rules & Regulations.
Special Committees are ad hoc committees, created to achieve a short term specific purpose.

Standing Committee chairs and Special Committee chairs are appointed by the President (except in the case of the Nominating Committee, which is by election of the Board). Standing Committee chair appointments are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
