Event Name	Philadelphia Race For The Cure
Type Of Event	Canoe Marathon (10km/6 miles & up) Kayak Marathon (10km/6 miles & up) Fundraiser or Benefit Outrigger Canoe Dragonboat or Swanboat This event is organized by the Schuylkill Navy and donations benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This will also be an experience to remember: Hundreds of Sculls, Sweeps, Dragon Boats, Row Boats, Canoes, Kayaks, Surf Skis.

Description	Meet at the Philadelphia Canoe Club at 11 A.M. to register and collect the $15 contributions. Launch at 11:30 A.M. Paddle one mile to starting line just downstream of the Roosevelt Blvd bridge. Mass start at 12 Noon. Race 5K down to Boat House Row. Electronic timing. Crowds and Press Coverage at finish.
