It is time again for our annual get together and a time for some great camaraderie. The USCA Annual Meeting will be held in Charlotte, NC at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport from January 13-15, 2017. 2017 will be the 50th USCA Annual Meeting. Attendance at an Annual Meeting is one of the most important duties of a Delegate since this is where the major decisions are made which will direct the United States Canoe Association now and for the future. We do hope that you will be able to attend. However, if you are unable to attend, please assign a current (2017) USCA member to carry your proxy.

The following are attached: (1) Call to Meeting and Proxy Form, (2) Annual Meeting Information sheet/USCA Membership Renewal form, (3) Annual Meeting Agenda and (4) Special Meeting Information from Steve Rosenau, Meeting Host. If you have problems downloading any of these attachments, please contact me right away.

Motel information. Be sure to make your hotel room reservations for the meeting as soon as possible but no later than midnight December 14, 2016 to receive the group rate. The group name is United States Canoe Association or (USC). Call directly to Carrie Hubregsen, Director of Sales at 704-972-3254. Please contact Steve Rosenau at sar4130@gmail.com or call 704-483-4130 to let him know you will be attending the meeting and staying at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport. If you have any problems making room reservations, contact Steve.

The Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday, January 14th, from 7- 9 pm at the US National White Water Center, 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway Charlotte, NC 28214. Make your banquet reservations by December 14, 2016. Complete information about the banquet and the reservation form is included in the attached Special Meeting Information from Steve Rosenau.
