Eligibility: Any USCA member who has shown outstanding sportsmanship during the USCA National's week is eligible to receive this award. This award may be given to any individual, any age, or sex, not necessarily a race participant. Selection Committee: Executive Committee, Executive Director, Representative from the St. Charles Canoe Club, St. Charles, IL. When Awarded: USCA Nationals, Sunday, during Awards presentation by the President of USCA. Procedure: The USCA Annual Bill Klebe Good Sportsmanship Award is to be announced in Canoe News magazine Nationals issue and placed on the semiannual meeting agenda under New Business. The Secretary of the Association shall announce to the attendees that written nominations will be received by the Secretary of the Association and the Executive Director until the start of the Awards presentation, Saturday, second day of the marathon events. Award: Traveling Trophy Media: The USCA Executive Director coordinates all information Background: Bill Klebe was an active member of the St. Charles Canoe Club, St. Charles, IL (USCA Club Affiliate). Bill and his wife Jean were very active racers, and good sportsmanship was one of his outstanding characteristics. It is only fitting that an award of this nature be give to a person who shows outstanding sportsmanship like conduct during the week of the USCA Nationals. Trophy engraving:
