Members benefits include:
USCA membership supports the USCA, a non-profit, educational group encouraging the growth of paddling as a recognized competitive sport and beneficial recreational activity through educational programs, conservation, safety, fitness, and participation in family and community life.

USCA members receive a bimonthly magazine, CANOE NEWS - North America's only magazine focusing on marathon canoe and kayak racing. CANOE NEWS includes articles about canoe racing and other USCA activities, race and event announcements and race results. This magazine is included in your membership subscription.

USCA members are eligible to participate in all USCA annual National Competitons for Aluminum Canoes, and for Marathon Canoes/Kayaks

Categories of Membership:

GOVERNING: Available to anyone 18 or over. Will receive full benefits, all publications, may vote for delegates, hold office and participate in all Association activities.

JUNIOR: Must be at least 5 years old but no older than 17 on January 1 of current year. Receives all benefits except may not vote or hold office.

FAMILY: Persons related to and residing within the same household with children under 19. One adult receives a GOVERNING membership with full benefits. Other family members are eligible to participate.

CLUB AFFILIATE: One GOVERNING membership to the appointed representative of organized dubs of 8 or more members. Eligible for one delegate when club has 10 or more USCA members. May sponsor races at no additional fee.

BUSINESS AFFILIATE: A business which supports the purposes of the Association. GOVERNING membership to one person.

RACE SPONSOR: One person will receive a GOVERNING membership with full benefits. Additional benefits: bulletins pertaining to racing, aid in scheduling, and race publicity.

SUBSCRIBING: Educational, literary or athletic organizations which support the purposes and goals of the Association. Receives the USCA Canoe News magazine only.

LIFE: A one time fee may be paid and obtain GOVERNING membership with full benefits in the Association for life. Also, anyone who recruits at least 50 members.

FOREIGN: Any non-resident, non-citizen who supports the purposes of the USCA. Any type membership is available with full benefits except one may not hold office in the Association.

DUES: Dues received after October 1 apply toward the balance of the year and for the entire following year. Dues are for the calendar year.

TAX DEDUCTIBLE: USCA is nonprofit. Charitable contributions will be acknowledged with a receipt of the contribution for IRS tax return purposes.
